SEA Games hopes still alive for non-Project swimmers

PETALING JAYA: The Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (Asum) have not shut the door on the non-Project squad swimmers who hoped to compete in the Vietnam SEA Games in December.

Asum secretary Edwin Chong said that those not in the list for the 2006 programme geared towards the Asian Games in Qatar would automatically get a place in the team to Vietnam if they beat the qualifying mark set by the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM).
