Perak FA obtain land for football complex

TAIPING: The Perak FA have acquired a 6.4ha land in Ipoh to build their own complex. 

The FA's deputy president Datuk Jamal Nasir Rasdi said at the Larut Matang and Selama FA 2002 Awards presentation dinner here on Sunday: “Once we have our complex, there is no need for us to rent soccer fields for our team to conduct their training sessions.” 

Jamal Nasir said that the FA would be able to have better programmes to produce good players. 

The award winners: Murugan Enterprise (Best team); Kassim Rahman (Best player); Husaini Othman (Golden Boot); Abdul Fauzi Rani (Best goalkeeper); M. Tamil Selvam (Best defender); Izamaruddin Sarif (Best midfielder); Mohd Rani Hussain (Best striker); Mohamad Hamid (Best coach); Kalai Selvam (Promising Under-15 player); Shamsul Annuar (Best youth player); and P. Uthayasuriyan (Best referee).
