PARIS: Italian referee Pierluigi Collina refused to be wired up with a microphone for Friday’s French league tie between reigning champions Lyon and leaders Marseille.
Collina, 42 and designated the world’s best referee for the fifth straight year, was brought in to officiate the game because France’s men in black were attending a training course.
