LEGANES: Supporters of Spanish Second Division outfit Leganes are suspected of stealing the club’s cucumber mascot, it was reported here on Wednesday.
Leganes, nicknamed the club of the cucumbers, had failed to win in six home matches since the board opted to invest in a mascot of a giant cucumber dressed in the team’s colours.
