MANCHESTER: English Premiership strugglers Sunderland’s French striker David Bellion looks set to be the surprise new face at Manchester United, according to reports on Monday.
The 20-year-old has made just five appearances for Sunderland this season because of a series of injuries but has impressed United manager Alex Ferguson so much the Scot is prepared to gamble on him rather than the more experienced Welsh star Craig Bellamy or Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen.
