VETERAN singles shuttler Ong Ewe Hock (pic) failed to show up at the Badminton Association of Malaysia’s (BAM) disciplinary board hearing yesterday. Instead he handed in a letter to the BAM asking for a two-week postponement. The hearing was called to deliberate over the former world No. 3 ranked shuttler’s outburst in the media over the statements by the BAM secretary, Zolkples Embong, asking him to retire and turn to coaching.
