LONDON: Claudio Ranieri will appeal against the dismissal of goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini during his side’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the third round of the English FA Cup on Saturday, the Chelsea manager said.
Cudicini was bundled to the ground inside his own goal by a body charge by striker Dean Windass as Middlesbrough tried to force an equaliser in a tense tie at Stamford Bridge.
