In the last two months, Manchester Commonwealth Games gold medallists Lim Pek Siah and Ang Li Peng hung up their racquets. The 23-year-old Pek Siah left first, saying she had nothing more to look forward to after winning the gold in Manchester while Li Peng, 21, gave up because of her nagging knee injuries.
