KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Football Conferation (AFC) will organise a Vision Asia seminar here from Jan 22-23 to develop the full potentials of their 44 members.
The AFC president, Mohamed bin Hammam, said that only about 15 to 20% of the true potentials of their members had been developed.
“The AFC's primary objective is to help other members to realise their full potentials at their own programmed pace and develop football and footballers to their maximum level,” he said in his New Year message released here yesterday.
Mohamed described 2003 as a new era for Asian football and one filled with challenges.
“The achievement of the objectives of Vision Asia calls for total teamwork between AFC and the national associations, plus total hard work and discipline,” he said.
“With the enormous human resources at our disposal, we will together take Asia and Asian football forward and higher.” – Bernama
