BURIRAM: Rider Mohd Akid Aziz is staying upbeat despite missing out on the overall crown in the Asia Road Racing Championships after he crashed in Race 2 of Round 6.

Akid was among the leading pack heading into the last lap in the Underbone 150cc category but was crowded out by a few Indonesian riders and crashed at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand yesterday.
