Malaysian racer Leona Chin takes home CCSC title

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian racer Leona Chin has taken the 2024 China Circuit Sprint Challenge (CCSC) BMW M235i Cup overall championship title.

Leona’s motorsports title-winning journey finished in the winter round at V1 International Circuit, Tianjin, where she secured pole position and celebrated back-to-back victories in the final races, earning her first championship in the series.

Earlier in July, the 38-year-old won four races in the CCSC, with all the races held at the V1 International Circuit.

Leona’s next challenge will be the Macau GP, also known as the 'World Cup of Motorsports', taking place Nov 15–17.
