Significant increase in attendance at Sepang, thanks to sprint race


SEPANG: The recently concluded Petronas Grand Prix Malaysia enjoyed a new three-day record in attendance, thanks to the introduction of the sprint race.

A total of 182,912 fans attended the event at Petronas Sepang International Circuit over the three days with 21,364 turning up on Friday, 70,911 on Saturday and 90,637 on Sunday.
