SEPANG: Reigning MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia came up short in his bid to win a second straight Petronas Grand Prix Malaysia title but he was not too disappointed.

The Italian Ducati rider was pleased with his race pace as he managed to stop Jorge Martin’s recent trend of gaining points in the MotoGP standings after overcoming the Spaniard at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.
