Motor racing-Aston Martin had 'best' qualifying at Australian Grand Prix: Alonso

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Twice Formula One champion Fernando Alonso said Aston Martin had their best qualifying at the Australian Grand Prix on Saturday despite being outshone by rivals Mercedes.

Spaniard Alonso will start fourth on the grid at Albert Park, with Max Verstappen on pole and Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton second and third respectively.
