Noguchi spoils Zaqhwan’s record-setting day with first win at ARRC


PETALING JAYA: Japan’s Haruki Noguchi of SDG MS HARC-POR.HONDA.PH romped to his first win in the opening round of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand.

Zaqhwan Zaidi (pic) of Honda Asia-Dream Racing with Showa had posted a new record of 1:34:844 in the qualifying session earlier in the day. His close contender Markus Reiterberger of ONEXOX BMW TKKR TEAM was second fastest at 1:35.008 while the Japanese rider was third with 1:35.045.
