Old-timer Karamjit still has the drive


PETALING JAYA: Karamjit Singh may be hitting 60 but he is still at the top of his game.

The former world production car rally champion driver made a triumphant return to rally racing when he won the Rally of Maran with long-time navigator Jagdev Singh. The Cisco Racing’s pair, in their Proton Gen 2 Turbo car, came out first in the overall standings with a 2:09 lead over second placed Sultan Mustafa Salihin-Aminuddin Baharun, in a Subaru Impreza 4WD.
