PETALING JAYA: Months of inactivity have not blunted Mohd Zaqhwan Zaidi’s ability to put on a commanding performance in the season opener of the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK). The 21-year-old Boon Siew Honda Racing Team rider led from pole to claim Race 1 of the MSBK1000 class with a time of 21:36.493 in the 10-lap race at the Sepang International Circuit yesterday.
“My team and I are very pleased to find our 2019 Honda CBR1000 RR still in winning condition. This is working out to be a great weekend for us, with plenty of mileage for me on the track,” said Zaqhwan.
