PETALING JAYA: The first four-wheel race in the country since the Covid-19 outbreak got off to a fine start with Wenso Racing team winning the Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) T Production (Touring Production) category in Race 2 of the Merdeka Race 2020.
With spectators limited to cars parked outside in front of a big screen, Wenso Racing’s Azlan Malik and Amirul Hafiz, driving a Honda FDZR, upstaged MSC Race 1 winner Lai Wee Sing from R Engineering - clocking a lap record of 2:28.872 for a sensational win at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on Sunday.
