PETALING JAYA: Petronas Yamaha Sepang Racing Team rider Franco Morbidelli showed little signs of discomfort from his crash last weekend as he ended the first day of the Grand Prix of Styria in the top 10.

Morbidelli, who was back on the bike for the first time since the horrific accident with Frenchman Johann Zarco, finished sixth on 1:24.198, just 0.339s shy of the fastest time, while teammate Fabio Quartararo rounded out the top 10 after setting a best time of 1:24.381.
