PETALING JAYA: The Motorcycle Grand Prix in Sepang may have been cancelled this year but its future in Malaysia is assured. Sepang International Circuit (SIC) intend to sign a long-term deal with the MotoGP rights holders Dorna.
SIC chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif said they have started negotiating with Dorna despite having to cancel this year’s edition in November because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
