SILVERSTONE, England (Reuters) - Mercedes put too much fuel in Valtteri Bottas's car for Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying after also making a ride-height error in Austria, Lewis Hamilton's team mate and closest Formula One rival revealed on Thursday.

The Finn won the season-opener in Austria this month but lost to Hamilton in the second and third races when the mistakes were made, leaving him five points adrift of the six-times world champion.
