PETALING JAYA: It could well be his final European outing on a MotoGP bike and Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah (pic) wants to finish on a high note.
The 25-year-old rider has not been retained by the KTM Tec3 team for next season and has yet to announce his future plans.
The last European stop will be in Aragon, Spain this weekend before the start of the Asia Pacific rounds which includes a stop at Sepang in November.
Despite a woeful start, Hafizh finished in the points in the last two rounds – at Silverstone last month and San Marino last Sunday.
And Hafizh, who was placed 15th in San Marino, is looking to continue the momentum.
“I was a bit disappointed from the last race because I didn’t have an ideal feeling with my machine. But we have to make the best of it and keep working hard.
“I just want to do my best and try to enjoy myself, which is not easy at the moment, ” said Hafizh, who is ranked 24th with seven points after 13 races.
