SIC won’t dismiss possibility of hosting Formula One again

Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman

PETALING JAYA: The Sepang International Circuit (SIC) may be resigned to life without Formula One (F1) but it won’t dismiss the possibility of hosting motor racing’s premier event again.

Not when Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, after being conferred the Petronas SIC Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) Awards 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award on Tuesday, is hoping that F1 will one day make its return to the SIC.
