No point for Hafizh after finishing 16th in Austria


PETALING JAYA: Rookie MotoGP rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah failed to get any points after finishing 16th at the Austrian Motorcycle Grand Prix but continues to stay in the lead for the Rookie of the Year award.

The Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider, who started at 17th on the grid, just lost out by three tenths of a second to Takaaki Nakagami of Japan. Nakagami received a point for finishing 15th after 28 laps at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
