PETALING JAYA: Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah put up an incredible performance under wet, tricky conditions to clinch a second podium finish for the season at the Japan Grand Prix at Motegi Circuit.

The Petronas Raceline Malaysia rider, who finished third, started from sixth spot on the grid but got squeezed by Portugal’s Miguel Oliveira at the first corner and dropped to ninth.
