West wins but Azlan still leads


PETALING JAYA: Australian GP rider Anthony West made his move on lap 11 to ride to victory in Race 1 of the SuperSports 600cc in the third leg of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championships in Japan.

After a dramatic morning of qualifying practices at the Suzuka Circuit yesterday, the 600cc race took off with wildcard Ikuhiro Enokido of Japan as pole sitter.
