SEPANG: Malaysia’s Khairul Idham Pawi showed strong intent with top three finishes in Moto3 free practice sessions of the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix on Friday.

The 18-year-old Honda Team Asia rider put in an impressive 2:16.371 in the morning session in the mostly dry conditions to be second fastest.
