SEPANG: Spaniard Fernando Alonso is next in line to join his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button in the exclusive “300 Grands Prix Club”.

Button will become only the third driver in Formula One history to start 300 GPs at the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday – joining Rubens Barrichello (322) and Michael Schumacher (306).
