SEPANG: Dutch teenager Max Verstappen turned in a performance way beyond his tender years by qualifying sixth for today’s Petronas Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix.
The 17-year-old Verstappen, who is still not old enough to drive in his country, impressed in difficult conditions to make it to Q3 (final qualifying session). The Toro Rosso driver then clocked 1:51.981.
