High-riding Khairul hopes to race in CEV next year


PETALING JAYA: Newly-crowned Asia Dream Cup (ADC) champion Khairul Idham Pawi is hoping to spread his wings in the CEV Spanish Championships next year.

The 16-year-old has been in dominating form in this season’s ADC, winning seven out of the 10 races. He clinched the overall title in Round Five of the Petronas Asia Road Racing Championships (ARRC) at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, last weekend with one round to spare. Qatar will host Round Six at the Losail International Circuit from Dec 11-13.
