PETALING JAYA: It was a day of learning for Malaysian Moto3 rider Amirul Hafiq Azmi as he tackled the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, during the practice sessions.

Clocking 2:19.902 for the 24th fastest time in the Grand Prix of the Americas on Friday, Amirul was slightly quicker than compatriot Zulfahmi Khairuddin, who was 28th fastest in 2:20.368.
