SEPANG: British driver Philip Callow, who is driving last year’s winning car, made a sensational debut in the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) when he topped qualifying to secure pole position for the opening race on Saturday.
Driving the Radical SR8 machine, which gave Hong Kong’s Angus Kirkwood his first ever MSS crown last year, Callow simply took charge of the 20-minute qualifying session with an early lap time of 2:06.074 around the 5.543km track.
