Moto3: Injured Amirul cleared to ride in season opener

PETALING JAYA: Young Malaysian rider Amirul Hafiq Azmi is not competing in the ongoing Moto3 pre-season test at the Spanish circuit of Jerez to allow his fractured wrist time to recover ahead of his rookie season debut at the Qatar Grand Prix on March 23.

The Malaysian rider injured his right wrist last week after suffering a fall whilst training on an enduro bike near his home.
