PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Moto3 rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin bowed out of the 2013 world championship in 12th place overall after finishing 13th in the final race of the season at the Valencia Grand Prix.
At the Ricardo Tormo circuit yesterday, Zulfahmi, who started from ninth on the grid, finished the race 30.666 seconds behind race and championship winner Maverick Vinales of Spain. Vinales grabbed the chequered flag in 40:13.463.
