Racer boy Akash going for broke in China Series

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s 16-year-old racing prodigy Akash Nandy is hoping to overcome a 21-point deficit to try and win the first-ever Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) this weekend.

The event will be the deciding races for the region’s new junior single-seater series, which is being held as part of the Sports Car Champions Festival (SCCF) at the Shanghai International Circuit.
