PETALING JAYA: Mohd Zaqhwan Zaidi is hoping for a top five finish in this weekend’s Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship in Jempol, Negri Sembilan, as he seeks to stay in contention for the CP130 title race.

Zaqhwan fractured his collarbone during his Moto2 appearance as a replacement rider for Technomag carXpert in the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) two weeks ago. He was involved in an opening lap pile-up involving Axel Pons, Fadli Immammuddin, Ezequiel Iturrioz and Decha Kraisat. All the riders escaped with minor injuries.
