Young Tigers pay penalty for costly errors as they finish last in SOJC


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s campaign at the Sultan of Johor Cup (SOJC) ended with them finishing last after the team lost a penalty shootout with Japan in the fifth-sixth placing match yesterday.

The Young Tigers had held the Japanese team to a 2-2 draw in regulation time but fell short in the shootout as Japan won 3-0 at the Johor Hockey Stadium.
