Dreadful start for Danish as he injures shoulder in Brisbane

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia were determined to get a result against the Australian Under-21 after two defeats but an injury early in the first quarter to goalkeeper Danish Afnan Faizal disrupted their rhythm in the third hockey test match in Brisbane yesterday.

Danish, who is currently the first choice goalkeeper under coach I. Vikneswaran, went for a dive during an attack by the Australian and dislocated his shoulder within five minutes of the start of the friendly where Malaysia lost 0-2.
