PETALING JAYA: Midfield general Fitri Saari has added further value in the national hockey team as the squad’s main penalty stroke taker besides his role as mentor to his young teammates.

A player needs the skills and a cool head during penalty conversions and Fitri has shown that he has the ability to withstand the pressure by scoring three penalty stroke goals from three attempts during the Nations Cup in Poland (May 31-June 9)
