PETALING JAYA: Hafizuddin Othman is Malaysia’s top hockey goalkeeper. Yet, Zaimi Mat Deris was the first choice goalkeeper throughout the Nations Cup in Poland form May 31-June 9 as Malaysia let in 17 goals in just five matches, finishing seventh out of nine teams.

So, why was Hafizuddin not fielded?
