PETALING JAYA: Faizal Saari’s decision to play in the Bangladesh Premier Division Hockey League will not affect his position in the national senior team although he will miss the ongoing trials at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

National head coach Sarjit Singh said Faizal was committed to play for Mohammedan Sports Club in the league after he was left out of the Speedy Tigers squad for the Olympic Qualifiers in Oman in January.
