‘Wonder Rocket’ Santhosh set to soar to great heights in hockey

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC)’s attempt of identifying future talents through the National Tamil Schools Championships may have worked as they have found a gem in Selangor’s N. Santhosh yesterday.

Santhosh led the way for Selangor Star to the boys’ crown with a 3-0 win over Penang and the 11-year-old striker who hails from Ladang Rinching, Semenyih scored a breathtaking 19 goals in just eight games in the tournament to showcase his talent at the National Hockey Stadium.
