PETALING JAYA: Malaysia, if their past records are anything to go by, should start their Olympic qualifying campaign with a win against China in Muscat, Oman, today at 10.30pm (Malaysian time).

Malaysia have won 12 out of their 15 matches, drawn two and their solitary defeat (1-2) occurred 12 years ago at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh in 2012.
