Speedy Tigers’ spot in Podium Programme to be reviewed after Olympic qualifiers

PETALING JAYA: The Speedy Tigers have been spared the drop from the Podium Programme by the National Sports Council (NSC) until the FIH Olympic Qualifiers in Oman from Jan 15-21.

Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal (pic), after the joint committee meeting (JKKK) with the NSC yesterday, said that they would also get some additional funding for the team’s preparation for the qualifiers.
