PETALING JAYA: Malaysia started with a bang when they beat Australia 8-2 but faltered in their second game, losing 5-7 to Namibia, in the Sultan Nazrin Shah men’s Indoor hockey tournament in Ipoh yesterday.
Australia are not a force in indoor hockey and world No. 15 Malaysia took advantage in their opening match as Izham Azhar starred with a hattrick (23rd, 24th and 35th minutes).
