Malaysia lose to India in hockey five-a-side

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia suffered a 7-3 thrashing in the hands of India in the Hockey 5s in Lausanne on Sunday.

It was their second defeat after getting blanked 5-0 by Poland on Saturday.

Malaysia's goals were scored by Noor Firdaus Rosdi (fourth and 13th minutes) and Faris Harizan (9th minute).

India scored through Mohd Raheel (eighth, 14th and 18th), Gursahibjit Singh (first, 17th) and Sanjay (10th and 12th) secure their second win of the tournament.
