PETALING JAYA: Holland dashed India’s hopes of making it into the final of the Hockey World Cup for the first time in 43 years with a 2-1 win in the quarter-finals in Bhubaneswar, India.
The Indians scored first in the 12th minute through Akashdeep Singh from a penalty corner but the Dutch quickly replied three minutes later with a 15th minute field goal through Thierry Brinkman on Thursday.
