KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor ended their 21-year wait for the MHC Under-21 hockey title in dramatic fashion – edging Perak 5-4 on penalties at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The two teams were level at 3-3 in regulation time. Selangor opened the scoring in the second minute through Nazirul Mubin Zebini before Umar Hakim Ahmad Robangi made it 2-0 in the 15th minute.
