PETALING JAYA: When national artistic gymnastics coach Ng Shu Wai entered the National Sports Council (NSC) in Bukit Jalil for the “Road to Tokyo” centralised camp, he was reminded of his training days in China.

Walking around clad in a mask and sanitising his hands regularly bought back memories of the former national gymnast’s training stint at the National Training Centre in Beijing 17 years ago.
