Tracie out to end years of pain, grit and sacrifice

Vision 2020 – Tokyo: Tracie Ang believes her balance beam gold medal victory in the SEA Games last year was the perfect boost in her bid to become the second gymnast after Farah Ann Abdul Hadi to reach Tokyo.

PETALING JAYA: For national artistic gymnast Tracie Ang, the Olympic dream still remains.

Having been in the national gymnastics scene for more than a decade, the 26-year-old from Melaka wants to end her career by making her Olympics debut - but first, she will be out to make a final attempt to qualify at the Asian Championships from May 2-5 in Tokyo, Japan.
